Design and Decoration Services
Employing the skills of Designer Gabrielle Di Stefano will provide you with quality and practical solutions when deciding on your home renovation. We begin every project with a one hour in-home consultation, at a time that is convenient for you.
Following this we provide a detailed fee proposal based on your brief, outlining the various stages of the design process, with a breakdown of our potential working hours for each stage. Fees vary depending on the project scope and our level of involvement. Below are the options currently available.
The client may choose to pay us an hourly fee for our Design and Decoration services. Our standard rate is $130.00 per hour (inc GST). In this method we provide a “wide range estimate” of the amount of hours we feel the job will take. Often, the actual amount may change because the project took an unexpected turn or because of changes in the scope of the project, however, we will discuss this with the client prior to exceeding the original estimate.
Flat Rate Fee
After evaluating your design needs and formulating a plan of action we may decide to quote a “flat rate” price. With flat rate pricing the client knows the cost of our services from the start. Unless the scope of the project changes, we won’t exceed the budget. In the case of project changes, our hourly rate of $130.00 (inc GST) will apply for all work that is beyond the scope of the original agreement.
We charge 65 cents per kilometre for travel to and from site meetings.
- Colour consultations, including supply of concept boards, swatches and paint specifications for trades.
- Pre start construction specifications, including supply of external & internal schedules for building trades.
- Design Survey, Design Development and Final Documentation for bathroom and kitchen renovations.
- Sourcing and quoting of flooring, kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings, furniture and lighting.
- Sourcing suitable fabrics for windows and furniture, including measure and quotation.
